Chelsea reportedly target one of their biggest signings in 19-year-old Bournemouth center-back Dean Huijsen. Huijsen joined the team from Juventus and has, over the seasons, paired really well with Illia Zabarnyi, and between them have contributed to keeping a fantastic run of just nine goals conceded in the last 11 games of the season.

That he has scored big goals against Spurs and Manchester United certainly caught the eyes of major clubs in Bayern Munich and Real Madrid among others, with the possibility there could even be a release clause in Huijsen’s contract this summer.
In contrast, the player would naturally want to hold on to his star defender after his big performances so far this campaign.

Whether Chelsea seals the deal as the transfer window progresses or Huijsen will leave Bournemouth successful in warding off the interest of Europe’s leading clubs, remains to be seen.
